ALLWEST is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our Spokane Valley team.
General Responsibilities
Construction Materials Testing Technicians are responsible for performing field and laboratory tests and checking compliance with plans and specifications. Technicians prepare electronic daily field reports that summarize services provided and calculate test results.
Experience & Certifications
- At least 1 year of applicable experience density testing soils and asphalt in the field.
- ACI and/or WAQTC certified in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Aggregate Testing Technician
- Concrete Construction Special Inspector
- Concrete Field Testing Technician
- Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician
- Concrete Strength Testing Technician
- Aggregate Testing Technician
- Asphalt Testing Technician II
- Embankment & Base Testing Technician
- In-Place Density Testing Technician
Additional Requirements
- Positive attitude with a customer service approach.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout eastern Washington and North Idaho.
- Experience using tablets and computers, and ability to use applicable software.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and maneuver up to 75 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to walk on uneven ground.
