SPECIAL INSPECTIONS
ALLWEST provides a well-executed Special Inspection program with qualified inspectors that will help to provide a significant improvement in the quality of construction. Construction deficiencies can be identified and corrected before they become costly and dangerous problems. Concrete / Reinforced Concrete Quality control and quality assurance testing for concrete are provided at the time of placement.
Slump, temperature, air content and yield are typically monitored. Cylinders are made for laboratory compressive strength testing. Structural Masonry Masonry Inspections and testing are done based on the project drawings and attributes, such as the types of mortar and grout
used and the reinforcement placed on site to ensure compliance with the plans. Structural Steel, Welding and High Strength Bolting ALLWEST Structural Steel, Welding and High Strength Bolting inspectors are certified to ICC,
AWS and CWI Standards so that you can be confident of expertise in all areas of your project.
Whatever the needs of your particular project, rest assures that we can meet them, on-time and on-budget. Fireproofing Testing of fireproofing materials typically consists of thickness, density and adhesion / cohesion of new construction
on structural steel members. Testing may be performed by on-site inspections or performed in our laboratory. Shotcrete ALLWEST will provide a certified special inspector to observe and evaluate placement of
reinforcing and testing of shotcrete during placement. Pre-Stressed Concrete ALLWEST will provide a certified special inspector to observe and
evaluate placement of reinforcing steel,
pre-stressing steel, and testing of concrete during placement. Proprietary Anchors ALLWEST will provide a special inspector to test
and evaluate placement of proprietary anchors.
