The proposed project consists of constructing three new multi-story residential/commercial buildings at the site.
The proposed construction consists of four 12-story or taller buildings of masonry and steel construction.
The proposed construction includes one or two levels of below-grade parking below the buildings and/or
existing ground surface. ALLWEST provided geotechnical engineering consisting of
soil borings and rock coring. Due to the variability in depth to bedrock and deep deposits of uncontrolled
fill (up to 73 feet), we recommended supporting the structures on a combination of spread footings and
drilled piers bearing directly on bedrock. We recommended bearing pressures of 100,000 psf for spread
footings and drilled pier capacities of up to 450 tons.

Project consisted of construction of 52,000 square foot commercial structure. ALLWEST
provided geotechnical engineering of the site to assist in foundation and pavement design and in design of
stormwater management facilities. ALLWEST provided special inspection including
reinforced concrete, structural masonry and structural steel.

The project consisted of excavation of 3-story parking garage and construction of a new
19-story commercial/residential condominium complex. ALLWEST
provided geotechnical engineering evaluation and materials testing (soils and asphalt density testing),
including tie back testing for support excavation. We also provided structural special inspections
(reinforced concrete and masonry, structural steel and bolting) including post-tensioned
concrete slab on deck floors.

The project consists of excavation and site preparation of the 160 acre mixed use property.
Construction of multi-story commercial/residential/office buildings including 133
condominium units. The total square footage for these commercial/residential/office
buildings is over 1,700,000. ALLWEST provided geotechnical engineering evaluation on
specific buildings within the development. We also provided materials testing (soils and
asphalt density testing), including the observation of retaining wall soil nails. We also
provided structural special inspections (reinforced concrete and masonry, structural
steel and bolting) including post-tensioned concrete slab-on-deck floors and shotcrete walls.

The project consists of excavation and mass grading of the 12 acre property. Construction of
a new 123,000 square feet facility including chapel/performing arts center, recording
studio, teen activities center and game room, aquatics center, sports training and recreation center.

(soils and asphalt density testing), and structural special inspections (reinforced concrete
and masonry, structural steel and bolting).

The project consists of excavation and site preparation of the property. Construction of a
5 story, 60,000 square feet facility including a parking garage, court rooms, holding cells,
and judge’s chambers. ALLWEST provided geotechnical engineering
evaluation, materials testing (soils and asphalt density testing), and structural special
inspection including reinforced concrete and masonry, structural steel and bolting, and soil compaction.

St. Mary's Hospital and Clinics
Kamiah Medical Services
Kamiah, Idaho
We performed a geotechnical engineering evaluation to assist in the design and construction
of the first phase of development for a medical services park to be located in Kamiah, Idaho.
The first phase of site development consisted of the construction of a 4,000 square foot
physical therapy building (wood frame construction), utilities, and an asphalt paved parking
lot and access road in the southeast portion of the site. Future development of the site
includes construction of multiple buildings, paved parking areas and roadways, and associated
utilities. Our services included field reconnaissance, shallow subsurface exploration, soils
sampling, laboratory testing, engineering analysis and report preparation and provide general
recommendations for future site development. Primary project issues addressed in the report
included mass grading, retaining walls and pavement section design based on anticipated growth.

St. Maries County Airport Taxiway
St. Maries, Idaho
We performed a geotechnical engineering evaluation to assist in the design and
construction of a proposed taxiway for light aircraft to be constructed parallel
to the existing runway the St. Maries County Airport in St. Maries, Idaho. Site development
included the construction of the subbase, base and asphalt pavement for a 25-foot wide and
2,400 foot long taxiway for aircraft up to 12,500 pounds along with associated drainage structures
and access ramps. Our services included field reconnaissance, shallow subsurface exploration,
soils sampling, laboratory testing, extensive engineering analysis and report preparation.
Primary project issues addressed in the report included extensive deposits of on site organic soils,
shallow groundwater, previous settlement of the runway, settlement analysis for the proposed
construction, preload design and construction staging.
